The UN Resident Coordinator in Pakistan Mr Julien Harneis visited Jacobabad District on 23-Jan-2023 to 25-Jan-2023, with his team including Ms Liny Suharin UN Deputy Head Office, Mr.Ahsan Habib Sheikh, UNDSS , Saleem ur Rehman representative UNOCHA and Mr. Imran Laghari, Mr Harneis was briefed by Deputy Commissioner Jacobabad about the submerged areas of District Jacobabad and the relief items distributed in the vulnerable areas. Mr. Harneis also visited the development projects by the UN agencies and their IPs, he also participated at wedding of flood affected community, where he enjoyed the local music also.
