Matiari is the land of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, the great Saint, Sufi poet, lover of Sindh and the world as well. Matiari is also known as the City of Saints. Many famous saints of Sindh were born at Matiari.

Matiari is situated 25 Kilometer away from Hyderabad at a height of 30 meters above sea level with fertile and productive lands along with Indus river.
