Arrangements for 281 Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai (RA)

A high-level meeting under chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Yousif Shaikh reviews final arrgaments for the 281st annual Urs of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai (RA) which will commence from Tuesday 20th August at Bhitshah amid tight security. Deputy Commissioner directed town administration, Public Health Engineering Departments to remain vigilant as heavy rain forecast has been predicted by Meteorological Department, full preparations be made for dewatering on warfooting basis, he warmed that no negligence and lethargy would be tolerated. The three-day event will feature the laying of Chadar at the Shrine, establishment of a Cultural Village in Shah Jo Baag, Malakhro, Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition, Sugharan Jee Katcherhri, Latif Adabi Conference, Raag Rehan (a musical event), and a concluding ceremony where the Latif Award will be presented to individuals who have promoted Shah’s message. Speaking to the media, the Deputy Commissioner stated that a foolproof contingency plan has been put in place to ensure the security and medical well-being of devotees of Shah Latif, who are expected to flock to Bhitshah from all over the country. He further added that, in light of the weather forecast, sanitation and dewatering staff have been arranged from nearby districts to ensure prompt response to any situation that may arise. Deputy Commissioner Matiari – Open Getherings

The District Administration Matiari organized an open meeting at Government Boys High School New Saeedabad to listen to public problems and solve them immediately, in which the citizens of Saeedabad and people from the rural areas of the Taluka raised piles of complaints about various departments of the district. Deputy Commissioner Matiari issued instructions to the relevant officials to solve the problems on an emergency basis and said that every officer of the department is accountable to the public, the problems that are in our power will be solved immediately, and major problems in writing to the higher authorities will be sent. He said that during the previous flood of 2022, the Mark wah solution for the drainage of water affecting the four union councils of the Taluka has been approved by the Irrigation Department, on which the work will start soon, to prevent water from Hala Branch for affected areas in 2022, section 144 will be applied and strict monitoring will be done by the administration so that rainwater from outside of the district does not enter the affected areas. Deputy Commissioner Matiari said that the work of Motor M-6 was delayed due to various issues and news was circulating that the alignment of the project is being changed, which will be taken seriously by MNA Makhdoom Jamil-ul-Zaman and Provincial Minister Makhdoom Mehboon-ul-Zaman. Raised voice against any kind of change in the plan to the higher authorities, due to their strong voice, it was decided to continue the mega plan without any change under the first design plan, on which work is going to start soon. The Deputy Commissioner announced the good news of equipping the AC facility and emergency room with modern facilities in New Saeedabad Taluka Hospital, providing 2 vehicles of Rescue 1122 as well as providing 2 mobile medical vehicles with modern medical facilities and establishing an institution for technical education.
